Description
Miranja the falcon guardian. The air was so cold, so sharp in her lungs… The hills so empty and dead, as if they were in their deepest sleep. Snow fell and melted gently on her soft, cold skin. Frozen grass broke under her feet, and every step she took lead her further and further away from the boarders. In her mind her dead fathers word repeated itself again and again: never cross the woods after midday. Never after midday… But today there was something unusual in the air. Something wrong. She saw it in the eyes of her falcons too. Their eyes were wild and filled with tension, and they knew what was wrong. She just had to walk on.
…And just then, when she had climbed the last dying hill, she saw it. Her heart stopped. Her breath became like ice, and she knew she could never ever go back again…
Hi guys! Sorry for not being around lately. So much has happened in my life. Among things I just moved and started school (i'm loving it), and I managed to create Miranja between the lessons. I hope you like it.
Photoshop, approximatly 80 hours spent.
(Oh and sorry for bad ridiculous english.

Regarding Sven's comment: It's funny how quickly people forget that the starting max is 5pts.
Hope you get to post more work!

And I could go on like this forever, mentioning all the good things, but I think you get my point by now.
If I have to find something to complain about, it would be that there need to be a little more space between her head and the top edge of the picture, the boots could need some more contrast here and there, make them look slightly more solid (though I know it's not leather), and try to smooth out the brushstrokes on her thigh?
Anyway, you should be proud of yourself.

Blindsoul: Thanks
Mysteria: Thank you very much!
Jane: Thank you for the long and constructive comment. I'm really happy you think this is my best so far. This can only mean I'm improving.
I agree it could need more space above her head. I guess the fact that I wanted to maintain the A4 format made me ignore it..

Little crits - I think she lacks some wind at the hair
Something disturbing about her feet
And hand,yes
But there are just a little things. It's beautiful and I love the atmosphere

It must have taken you forever to paint all that grass oh my. Wonderful color palette, too.
I am just wondering if you took inspiration from an artist that was known as Dunkelgold around here? Pose and dress remind me very much of a painting she published some time ago. But it's just that. If so I would say you did even better than her. You applied richer colors and better light, but that's just my two cents.

it's a pity the highest mark I can give this is a 5, because it really deserves more.
Anyway, 5/5 from me.

Her expression and her of walking (her posture) is sooo good. She seems she'd kick-butt in a fight. The background and everything around her, on her, is just otherwordly and enchanting.
BEAUTIFUL
BEAUTIFUL work!
