Great concept. Great linework.

The drawing itself is excellent...nice design, good rendering. But the perspective is off as we go down the statue. We are looking down on the floor, and thus we should be looking down on the base of the statue. But you've drawn the entire statue in a sort of orthographic view where we are looking straight on at all parts of it.

It's unlikely you'll go back and fix it now, but in the future, remember to plan your perspective out a bit better and keep it consistent.

Yeah, as I started drawing I thought I would only draw the statue and nothing else. But then I thought adding floor would make it a little more interesting... I guess I should gave payed more attention to the perspective., thanks fukifino!

cool stuff, reminds me off dragonlance series chapter pics. crit... can be easily fixed... the column part is really flat. the dark should be on the outsides, and lightest part in the middle, would make it look more 3dimensional. super easy fix in photoshop.

The dragon(s ?) is great, really ! Good shading, good texturing.. The rest of the statue looks well too, and the pavement gives a good feeling of 3D.

But to me the bottom of the statue definetely lacks volume. Also if you consider the light on the dragon, then it's shadow on the pavement is not at the good place

Conclusion : little things I don't like, the rest is very good !

Dragonlance... I have one of the books, actually. As said before; good work with splendid shadows. One of my favourites!

This is a really careful piece of work, showing much promise for future works. It's worked out very well indeed. The only remark I would forward is that you might study light - it's effect and ambience on objects and in turn, their effect on other adjacent objects... this knowledge is an excellent tool to have in any graphica's artbox. Well done!
